Results

BUFFALO, New York - At the end of the record-breaking first day of the Women's MAC Championship meet, Toledo leads the pack, while Miami women's swimming and diving team is in a close third place.

The meet opened with a phenomenal performance by the relay team of Malarie Schmidt, Karen Frazier, Nicole Roddenberry, and Alyson Schmidt in the 200 medley relay. Their time of 1:43.79 not only earned them second place, but set a new Miami University record for this event.

In the second and last event of the first day, the RedHawk women once again broke the school record in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:28.38. This time earned the team of Maggie French, Kristen Bezier, Malarie Schmidt, and Allison Stevens fourth place.

The schedule for the rest of the meet is as follows:

Trials - Thursday, 11:00 AM 500 Yard Freestyle 200 Yard Individual Medley 50 Yard Freestyle One Meter Diving @ 1:00 PM

Finals - Thursday, 7:00 PM 500 Yard Freestyle 200 Yard Individual Medley 50 Yard Freestyle One Meter Diving @ 1:00 PM 200 Freestyle Relay
