2008-09: Through December of 2008, she has performed well, establishing career-best efforts at the 2008 Miami Invitational in the 50 freestyle (:24.26), the 100 free (:52.82), the 200 free (1:52.04) and the 100 butterfly (:56.89). 2007-08: Swam to a personal best 1:53.93 in the 200-yard freestyle and 5:04.75 in the 500 free ... registered a clocking of :58.11 in the 100 butterfly. High School: Four-year letter winner ... put together a successful prep career at the Academy of the Holy Cross where she was named the team MVP in each of her final three seasons ... tabbed as team captain for her senior season. Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Mary Gibson ... majoring in English literature ... also studying journalism ... comes from a strong swimming background as both her parents swam collegiately.
