The Red and White will take on the Chippewas of CMU (21-14, 10-3 MAC) in a doubleheader on Friday, with the first game slated for a 1 p.m. start time.  Miami will then face the Eastern Michigan Eagles (12-23, 4-6 MAC), with games set for 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. 

Prior to the beginning of Sunday's contest, the graduating class of 2008 will be honored during an on-field ceremony. 

Miami's graduating class includes Christine Bills, Halle Popson, Breanna Robinson, Natalie Savona and Kimberly Williams.  With 100 wins over the last four years, the '08 class is the third-consecutive graduating class to reach that plateau.  As freshmen, this class earned Miami's first MAC Championship ring, defeating Marshall University 5-2. The RedHawks then traveled to Tennessee to participate in Miami Softball's first ever NCAA Regional.

Fans are encouraged to come out and recognize the accomplishments of the five seniors, both on and off the field.

This weekend is also Cancer Awareness Weekend at the Miami Softball Field, where the softball team, along with the Miami Spirit Teams, will promote cancer awareness at each game of the weekend series.

Miami Softball vs. Central Michigan Friday, April 25th - 1/3 P.M.

The Softball team will focus on the prevention of skin cancer as information and free samples will be available to those in attendance. 

Miami Softball vs. Eastern Michigan Saturday, April 26th - 5:00 P.M.

The Miami University Spirit Teams joined forces to host the "Miami Spirit 5K" to fight Ovarian Cancer.  All proceeds will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.  Race begins at 3:00 P.M. on the front lawn of Millett Hall and finishes at the Miami Softball Stadium.  Miami Softball alumni will also be in attendance at Saturday's game for Alumni Weekend.
