OXFORD - Senior outfielder Breanna Robinson was named the Mid-American Conference East Player of the Week after batting .700 last weekend as the RedHawks started conference play.
Robinson led Miami to a perfect 4-0 record in conference play, going 7-for-10 at the plate with a triple, two homeruns, and five RBI. She also walked twice, and had a stolen base.
Robinson was a wall defensively as well, recording a fielding percentage of 1.000 over the four game stretch, making a number of outstanding plays in centerfield to keep the RedHawks ahead.
Robinson's slugging percentage for the weekend was an impressive 1.500. She is now batting .347 for the season, with 3 doubles, 2 triples, 6 homeruns, and 29 RBIs.
