Louisville, KY - The Michigan Wolverines showed their hitting strength today as they downed the RedHawks 12-0 at the University of Louisville Tournament.

With bases loaded, Michigan jumped ahead early with a homerun from clean-up hitter Samantha Findlay. Meredith Linch immediately shut down the Wolverines' bats, only allowing two hits during the next two innings. However, the RedHawks' bats were unable to combat Michigan's pitcher, Jordan Taylor, who did not allow a single hit.

Miami hoped to bounce back during tonight's game against Minnesota, but the rain would not let up and the game was cancelled. Tomorrow the RedHawks will face Minnesota at 2:00 p.m., then the host Louisville Cardinals at 4:00 p.m.
