A familiar face has joined the RedHawk coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in 2010. Breanna Robinson is a 2008 graduate from Miami and remains a fixture in the RedHawk softball record books. As a volunteer assistant coach she will work with the outfielders and the hitters.

Robinson was a First Team All-MAC selection as a senior in 2008 after leading Miami with a .366 batting average with 11 home runs and 51 RBIs. Those 11 home runs and 51 RBIs are both single season records for the RedHawks. Robinson ranks second all-time at Miami with 20 career home runs and 87 career RBI.

"We are happy to give Bre an opportunity to start her coaching career here at Miami," said Schoenly. "She obviously left her mark here during her playing days and has a love for Miami that can be matched by few. She brings a competitive spirit and can relate to what the players are going through on a daily basis. I see a bright future for her in this profession."
