Named second-team all-Mid-American Conference for the second consecutive season ... led the RedHawks in batting average with a .319 mark moving her career average above .300 ... ended the season tied for second in home runs (7), tied for fifth in runs batted in (28) and total bases (81) and tied for eighth in hits (51) in the program’s single-season history ... besides leading the club in batting average, she led the Red and White in doubles (9), slugging percentage (.506), on-base percentage (.353), fielding percentage (.972), multi-hit games (14) and game-winning RBIs (5) ... her 15 runs scored were the third most on the team ... on April 15, 2002, she became Miami’s first MAC Player of the Week in more than four years ... named to the Pepsi Capital Classic all-Tournament Team for leading Miami into the semifinals.
2001:
Named second-team all-Mid-American Conference ... led team and ranked fifth in the Mid-American Conference in on-base percentage (.401) ... placed second on the team and 10th in the conference in batting average (.341) ... had a team-best 16-game hitting streak (4/10-5/5), going 26-for-51 (.510) during that stretch ... also led team in doubles (10), multi-hit games (12) and putouts (260), and tied for the team lead in home runs (2) and total bases (60) ... registered the second-most hits on the club (44) and tied for second in RBIs (19) ... had back-to-back-to-back two-hit games from 4/28-5/5 ... posted Miami’s only four-hit game of the season, going 4-for-4 in a 7-2 win over Ohio (4/20) ... her first-inning, three-run homer against Eastern Illinois (3/16) accounted for the game’s only runs ... hit a two-out, two-strike RBI single in the top of the seventh which proved to be the difference in the RedHawks’ 1-0 win over Northern Illinois (3/27).
2000:
Blasted her lone home run in an eight-inning, 5-3 loss to Bethune Cookman … recorded seven multi-hit games to rank third on the team… went 2-for-2 in a 2-1 loss to Northern Iowa … started her career with a three-game hitting streak.
Prior to Miami:
A two-time all-state selection ... earned all-league and all-district honors all four years ... participated in the all-state senior game ... was a member of Boone and Dar 18 and Under Gold team for two seasons ... launched five home runs during her junior campaign at Erie-Mason ... nailed eight home runs and boasted a .521 batting average during her prep career ... was a four-year letterwinner in softball and captained the team as a senior ... also earned four letters and was a captain for the volleyball team ... earned two letters in basketball ... on the Honor Roll all four years.
