Prior to Miami: Led Chaminade High School to two-straight league titles Eagles went undefeated in league action both seasons helped Chaminade to the state title during her senior campaign and the semifinals as a junior Eagles were ranked No. 1 in their division throughout the state of California all season and ended 1999 ranked eighth out of all of the school in any division in the state participated in the Daily News All-Star Game for seniors earned first-team all-state recognition as a senior also was a first team Daily News and a second-team Los Angels Times selection recognized by Cal-High Sports Magazine as a first-team all-state selection in 1999 was a four-time all-league selection a four-year letterwinner in softball was a Scholar-Athlete at Chaminade in 1996, 98 and 1999 and a 4.0 Scholar-Athlete in 1997 earned the school's award for excellence in the study of physical education her summer team won the Northern California State Championship in 1999.
