1999: Made her first pitching appearance on March 20 against Ball State, after sitting out due to a knee injury sustained in the fall ... picked up her first collegiate win in a 5-2 triumph at Dayton on April 6 ... threw an impressive 12 strikeouts, the highest single-game total of 1999, against the Flyers ... amassed 83 strikeouts in 78.1 innings of work ... her 83 strikeouts helped the Miami pitching staff break the team single-season strikeout sum with a combined total of 283... the previous record was 204 set in 1990 ... boasted the best ERA on the team (2.50) ... pitched three complete games ... was the only RedHawk pitcher to earn a shutout in a 3-0 triumph at Eastern Michigan on April 10 ... gave up only one hit and sat down nine batters in 10 innings in a 2-1 loss to Butler ... recorded a 3-7 record for the season and pitched three complete games ... gave up only 67 hits against 307 batters and allowed the opponents only a .223 batting average ... made 20 appearances and 10 starts ... recorded five or more strikeouts in seven contests ... threw at least one strikeout in 19 of her 20 appearances ... the only time she didn't record a strikeout was a one-inning appearance.

Prior to Miami: Led team to the CIF quarterfinals ... earned team MVP honors four years ... garnered league MVP honors her junior and senior seasons ... was named to the all-CIF team all four years ... achieved a .02 ERA and a .400 batting average as a senior ... also helped ASA team to first-place finishes at the Winter Start-Up Tournament, Thanksgiving Tournament and Batbuster Tournament ... ASA team placed second at the Colorado Fireworks Tournament ... was named the all-county Female Athlete of the Year ... also named MVP of her basketball team two years.
