OXFORD, Ohio- Senior Danielle Altiero (Upper Arlington, OH/Upper Arlington) and sophomore Ashley Swinehart (Worthington, OH/Worthington) continue to reap the benefits of excellence in the classroom and on the soccer field as the Mid-American Conference named both RedHawks to the Academic All-MAC Women's Soccer Team on Monday.

This is the third award for the two midfielders in the past week. Altiero and Swinehart were named to the 2002 Verizon Academic All-District IV University Division women's soccer first-team on Nov. 7. Later in the day, both Red and White players earned first-team all-MAC honors at the annual MAC women's soccer awards banquet.

To qualify for the academic all-MAC accolade, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50% of the matches. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments from the current season only are considered.
