The Miami University Women's soccer team will host Western Michigan on Friday (Oct. 12) at 4 p.m. and Northern Illinois on Sunday at 1 p.m. The RedHawks currently have a record of 3-5-3 on the year and are 1-2-1 in the MAC.
THE REDHAWKS: The RedHawks were defeated 3-1 by Ohio Sunday afternoon (Oct. 7th.) Miami's only score in the 3-1 loss to Ohio came from freshman forward Sara Lund, her fifth goal of the year. Goalkeeper Krista Pace played all 90 minutes of the game and had six saves for Miami.
THE OPPONENTS
THE WESTERN MICHIGAN BRONCOS: The Broncos of Western Michigan was shut out by MAC foe Kent State 2-0 Sunday afternoon (Oct. 7th.) Goalkeeper Jessica Laning made ten saves against the Golden Flashes, one shy of her season high.
THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS HUSKIES: Northern Illinois scored two goals in the first half against Buffalo to secure the 2-1 victory. Lisa Maier recorded her first goal of the season and added an assist to help lead the Huskies to victory. The Huskies improved to 5-4-2 overall and 2-2-0 in their conference play.
