OXFORD, Ohio - It took overtime for DePaul to inch out a 3-2 win over the Miami University women's soccer team at Miami Soccer Field on Friday evening.

Morgan Celaya put a header over keeper Rachelle Boff (So. Naples, Fla.) and found the net in the 96th minute. Despite controlling the tempo for most of the game, Miami was not able to stop the Blue Demons from sending the RedHawks to their second consecutive overtime loss. Boff took over in net in the 89th minute when Krista Pace (Jr. Toronto, Ontario) was sidelined with an injury after she tried to make a diving stop.

DePaul looked to be on the ropes late in the game until Jenna Fagerman chipped a shot over the head of Pace that found the net and evened the score 2-2 in the 87th minute.

Brooke Livingston (So. Lislie, Ill) opened scoring in the first half in the 10th minute with a header off a corner from Danielle Hays (Sr. Apex N.C.). DePaul made several runs in the first half but the Blue Demons leading scorer Tara Strickland was shut down all game by Courtney Elsen (Sr. Madison, Conn.).

Sara Lund (So. Malmo, Sweden) gave Miami a 2-1 lead in the 34th minute after she was taken down in the box and was awarded a penalty kick. Lund beat the keeper left side for her fifth goal of the season, which leads the Mid-American Conference. The lone first-half goal for the Blue Demons came off a free kick from Beth Perry that found the foot of Kelly Semko and beat Pace left side.

Miami's next game is on Sunday as the RedHawks welcome the Louisville Cardinals to Miami Soccer Field at 1 p.m.
