OXFORD, Ohio - Coming off a 2009 season that saw the Miami University women's soccer team reach the Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship game, the RedHawks look to carry that momentum into spring practice as they begin preparation for the 2010 campaign. Head coach Bobby Kramig has announced Miami will play five games during spring practice, with three of them being held in Oxford.

The 'Hawks begin spring play Saturday, March 20 at Indiana State with kickoff set for 1 p.m. before hosting Xavier on Saturday, March 27, also at 1 p.m. Miami defeated the Musketeers, 3-1, in Oxford this past season in September. The RedHawks then hit the road on Saturday, April 10, as they take on Youngstown State at 4 p.m.

Miami's final two spring contests are both in Oxford, beginning Saturday, April 17 at 1 p.m. when the RedHawks host Butler, which will be the highlight game of the spring schedule, before rounding out competition on Saturday, April 24 against Kentucky at 1 p.m.

Miami is coming off a 12-8-1 campaign in 2009, including a 6-4-1 mark in MAC play to finish sixth. The RedHawks' 2010 fall schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
