OXFORD, Ohio - Miami women's soccer posted a second-half rally against Toledo but came up short 3-1 on Friday in Toledo, Ohio.

The RedHawks fell behind early when Ali Leak, of Toledo, scored off a pass from Molly Cornwell in the second minute of the match. Annie Sullivan made it a two-score game after she netted a goal off a double assist from Erin Flynn and Jamie Morsillo. Heather Wesley closed scoring for the Rockets with a goal in the 24th minute.

Courtney Clarke tried to rally Miami in the 51st minute when she scored her second goal in three games but that was the only goal for Miami. Jodi Zwingelberg kept the pressure on Toledo with three shots and two on goal but was unable to get one in the net.

The RedHawks will continue MAC play Sunday as they head to Bowling Green, Ohio to take on the Falcons. The game starts at 4 p.m.
