Prior to Miami: Was a two-year letterwinner on the Fremont Ross High School varsity boys soccer team ... helped Fremont Ross to a sectional championship in 1997 ... honorable mention all-Great League and first-team all-district selection ... helped high school club team to Ohio North State Championship in 1998 ... was a 1997 regional pool selection for the Olympic Development Team ... two-year letterwinner at Maine, where she played forward, midfielder and defender ... earned Athletic-Academic Bronze Medal and was named to the America East Conference Academic Honor Roll while at Maine.

Personal: Born Sept. 11, 1975 ... daughter of Jon and Nancy Smith ... majoring in dietetics.
