2002: Saw action in a career-high three matches on the season ... allowed just one goal in more than 80 minutes in net ... played for 16 minutes and made two saves in Miami’s first-round MAC Tournament defeat of Central Michigan ... saw a career-high 52 minutes of action and combined with Leigh Terry in a 3-0 shutout of Wright State on Oct. 25 ... also appeared for 11 minutes in Sept. 22 shutout of Akron.

2001: Did not see action.

2000: Made one appearance on the year, combining with fellow goalkeepers Laura Degelleke and Allison Krause to post a shutout in Miami’s record-breaking 8-0 defeat of South Alabama.

Prior to Miami: Four-year letterwinner at Male H.S. in Lousiville ... served as team captain as a senior ... honored as team MVP following her senior season ... earned all-district and all-region honors as a junior and senior ... also lettered one year in basketball.

Personal: Born April 21, 1982 ... daughter of Marilyn and Larry Smith ... majoring in interdisciplinary studies with emphasis in creative writing and psychology.
