OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University (2-16, 0-9 Mid-American) field hockey team was shut out twice this weekend by No. 13 Ohio, 9-0, and No. 12 Kent State, 5-0. The RedHawks skid is now at 16 games but includes seven setbacks to nationally ranked teams.
On Friday, Oct. 19, Ohio scored five goals in the first period and four more in the second against the RedHawks to improve their record to 11-4 and 6-1 in the MAC.
