Final Stats

Senior Midfielder Katie Brightwell:
On the loss to Central Michigan: I think our team just did not come out and give it our all. We need our entire team out there the entire game, and we just did not have that. Some days you are on and some days you are off and today was just an off day. We cannot let people score on us in the first five minutes.

On her second half goal: It was a team effort. If we all push hard toward the goal, we are going to score. We just stayed on the ball and just kept hammering until we got it in.

Head Coach Jill Reeve
Overall: We were not really ready to play. You find yourself down a goal and, no matter how hard we pushed, we were always down a goal. We were not firing on all cylinders today.

On what may have caused somewhat of a letdown: The last time we played Central, we played very well. The point of that is that you need to bring it every game.

On what changes with the loss: We are going to have to play perfectly if we are going to wind up in the top two spots.

On the team, overall: They are fully capable of owning all of these games. The disappointment is when we don't bring our team performance. There are team responsibilities and individual responsibilities. We have to look at Sunday as a business trip.
