Personal: Born January 21, 1981 (20 years old) daughter of Jerry and Suzzie Carmody sister, Ryann, played field hockey at Northwestern University (1995-99) majoring in English.
According to Fesperman: Kate has good speed and lots of experience after good first year. What makes her a strong player is her ability to counter-attack the opponent.
