The 2009-10 women's basketball home season tips off on November 21 against ACC opponent Wake Forest and the team is taking the opportunity to give back to the community. The opener has a Holiday theme where giving back has its rewards -- all fans who bring canned goods to Millett Hall will receive free admission to the game. Start your holiday season off on the right note by giving to help the Oxford area community.

11/21/09vs. Wake ForestThanksgiving Food Drive!Join Miami Women's Basketball in gathering food for those families in need this holiday season. Each fan who brings a canned good to the game to donate will receive FREE admission to the game!
12/9/09vs. Wright StateThe Second Annual Class at the Court.Miami Women's Basketball and the Miami-Talawanda partnership, welcome the elementary school students of the Talawanda School District for a fun and learning filled day at the court!
12/12/09vs. DaytonMini University Day!Miami Women's Basketball invites the youth and families from the Miami Mini-U and Dayton's Mini-U to come to the game! Mini-U Youth will have the opportunity to participate in the Fan Tunnel as well as special on-court promotions!
12/30/09vs. Eastern Illinois"Paws" for the CauseMiami Women's Basketball and the Animal Adoption Foundation partner on this special day to raise awareness about Animal Adoption. There will even be special four legged guests at the game available for adoption!
1/3/10vs. Miami (FL)Battle of the Miami's!University of Miami comes to Oxford for this first-ever meeting between Miami and Miami. All youth who participated in Women's Basketball Clinics and Camps are invited back for this exciting game!
1/16/10vs. AkronAmerica's Best Frisbee DogsIt's a wild show, full of stunts and thrills. Dogs extending themselves to break-neck speeds to run down Frisbees that looked impossible to catch. They leap high in the air for acrobatic catches and propel themselves off Bill's back to blast even higher in their pursuits.
2/3/10vs. Ball StateNational Girls & Women in Sports DayA day to honor and recognize the accomplishments of Women in sports.
2/6/10vs. Western MichiganYouth Day!Have you ever wanted to learn on to play Field Hockey? Pepper a Volleyball? Tackle a Miami Football player? Today is your chance! All kids are invited to the game for a special $3 rate and can participate in a FREE clinic with Miami Student-Athletes on the concourse!
2/20/10vs. BuffaloTHINK PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness.This annual event is one to raise awareness and show your support of the fight against cancer. There will be opportunities to donate to the cause at the game.
