OXFORD, Ohio--On Thursday, Nov. 6, the Red and White Club Luncheon will feature basketball coaches Maria Fantanarosa and Charlie Coles along with basketball student-athletes Jaclyn Leininger and Adam Fletcher.

In addition to getting the inside scoop on the upcoming season from the coaches and players, basketball season ticket holders will be able to pick up their season tickets at the luncheon held on the West Concourse of Millett Hall. Lines for the luncheon open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon program begins at noon. Season ticket pick up will be directly following the luncheon program.

Miami's women's basketball team is coming off a MAC Tournament Championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance. The RedHawks host an exhibition game against the Hoosier Lady Stars at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, before playing their season opener at Eastern Illinois Nov. 14.

The men's basketball team made its fourth-straight postseason appearance with a berth in the 2008 College Basketball Invitational and returns four starters from 2007-08. The RedHawks host Saginaw Valley State in an exhibition game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, before playing their season opener at the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer Nov. 12-13.
