CHICAGO - Following a senior season where she was a 2008 State Farm Coaches' Honorable Mention All-America selection, the 2008 Mid-American Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player and a First-Team All-MAC honoree, senior guard Amanda Jackson has been signed to a training camp contract by the WBNA's Chicago Sky, Sky General Manager and Head Coach Steven Key announced Wednesday morning (April 16).

Jackson, Miami's all-time leading scorer, broke 12 Miami school records this season, including the single-game and single-season scoring records along with the career scoring record. Jackson also became the second player in Mid-American Conference history to eclipse 1,900 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 300 steals in a career, joining Toledo's Kim Knuth (1995-99).

Sky training camp begins on April 23 at ATTACK Athletics, located at 2641 W. Harrison Street in Chicago, Ill.
