Following an impressive season that included a five-year high for wins, a second consecutive Mid-American Conference semifinal appearance and the crowning of the first Miami MAC Player of the Year since 1983, Miami University's women's basketball team will reflect upon and celebrate its 2001-02 campaign at the first annual women's basketball banquet on April 14.

Hosted in the Multipurpose Room of the Shriver Center, the banquet, which features Mistress of Ceremonies Darcy Shriver, begins at 1 p.m. Along with a buffet style luncheon that includes breaded chicken and pasta, vegetables, salad, rolls and dessert, speeches will be made by head coach Maria Fantanarosa and team captains Heather Cusick and Colleen Day. A slideshow to recap the season also will be featured.
