CLEVELAND - After a 12-4 Mid-American Conference record and helping the RedHawks to their sixth 20-win season in program history, senior guard Amanda Jackson, senior forward Laura Markwood and junior guard Jenna Schone earned All-MAC honors, the conference announced this evening.

Jackson, who led the conference in scoring this season averaging 21. 9 ppg, earned First-Team All-MAC accolades, which is her second consecutive First-Team All-MAC selection. Jackson has broken several Miami school records this season, including Miami's all-time scoring record, single-season scoring record and single-game scoring record.

Schone earned Second-Team All-MAC accolades after averaging 13.9 ppg this season, 5.4 apg and posting a MAC-best 1.92 assist-to-turnover ratio. In Miami's final road conference game, Schone scored a career-high 29 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including five made three-pointers and she has started all 30 games for Miami this season, improving her consecutive starts streak to 88.

Markwood earned Third-Team All-MAC honors this season after having the finest season of her career. Markwood leads the MAC in rebounding in conference-only and overall games and she is having her finest offensive season of her career. Markwood averages 9.1 ppg and 10.6 rpg this season, while also ranking among the MAC elite in steals, field goal percentage and blocks.

2007-08 team captains, Jackson and Schone, and Markwood lead the RedHawks into the MAC Tournament as the No. 2 East Division seed and Miami plays at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 against the winner of the Western Michigan/Akron first-round match-up.
