Vicki Hall returns for her second season on the Miami basketball staff. The 16-year former pro works with the post players, focusing on rebounding and also handles the team's schedule.

A sought after prospect out of high school, Hall was the named both the Naismith and Gatorade Player of the Year in 1988. She lettered four years at Texas and was named to the Southwest Conference All-Decade team for the 1990s. Hall began her playing career overseas, with teams in Switzerland and Greece before returning stateside for stints with the Colorado Explosion (1998-99) and Nashville Noise (1999-2000) of the ABL and the Cleveland Rockers (2000-02) of the WNBA. She spent the past seven years playing for teams in Italy, France and Israel, helping lead Pool Comense to the Final Four in Italy in 2006.

Hall spent several years as a member of the United States National Team. She was part of the team that won the World Championship in 1990. She also won gold with Team USA at the Goodwill Games in 1990.

An experience teacher, Hall has spent her offseasons training basketball players of all ages. She conducted her own high skill basketball camp in 1996 and was on the staff of the Nike All American Camp in 1999.

"I'm just really happy to be a part of Miami," said Hall. "It has a wonderful tradition in women's basketball and I am hoping to be a part of another winning season. I am enjoying seeing basketball from the other side. I've been a player professionally for 16 years and when you count college and everything else, I've been playing for 25 years. While I do have some experience in coaching individuals, I am excited to now be coaching at this level."
