OXFORD, Ohio - Pat Sovacool (Lakewood, Ohio- St. Ignatius), Miami University junior cross country runner, has earned his third Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week award of the 2007 season.

Sovacool placed 31st at the Pre-NCAA Invitational at Indiana State University on Saturday. His time of 23:54 helped the RedHawks place 21st out of 38 teams from around the nation.

The RedHawks are currently ranked seventh in the Great Lakes Region as voted on by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Miami will next run at the MAC Championships at Central Michigan University on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m.
