TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Miami University men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Saturday on the campus of Indiana State University, finishing 21st out of 38 teams.
In the 8K race, Pat Sovacool was the top finisher for the RedHawks in 31st place with a time of 23:54. Michael Veatch and Brad Untrauer were next for Miami, coming in 100th and 115th place with times of 24:39 and 24:46, respectively. Michael Perry ran a 24:51, good for 133rd place, while Kevin Silver came in 151st with a time of 25:03.
Adam Martin and Paul Krebs rounded out the Miami runners with times of 25:24, 25:31, finishing in 187th and 195th place, respectively.
Miami next runs at the MAC Championships, hosted by Central Michigan University, on Oct. 27 at 11 a.m.
