2004-05: Cross Country -- All-MAC First Team ... finished fourth overall at the MAC Championship and second among Miami runners, earning first-team all-conference status ... was among the scoring five in all six of the team's races, finishing between second and fourth on the team in every race ... top 8K time was 24:17 at the Notre Dame Invitational ... finished second among RedHawks and 28th overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in 31:01.1 ... Track and Field -- MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week (3/29) ... All-MAC Second Team ... qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the 1500 with his 3:47.59 time at UC Irvine to open the outdoor season, finishing third ... bettered that time at Indiana's Billy Hayes Invitational to 3:45.79, also upping his personal best ... earned two medals at the MAC Championships, including a silver in the 5K for his 14:36.88 finish and a bronze for his 3:50.19 finish in the 1500 ... at the NCAA Regionals, finished 19th in the 1500 in 3:52.81 ... won four events on the year, including two at the Denison indoor meet, where he won the 800 in 1:55.07 and the 1500 in 3:54.30 ... won the 1500 at Cincinnati's Nikoloff Invitational in 4:04.01 and at the Southern Ohio Cup in 4:07.46 ... competed at the prestigious Penn Relays in the 5K, finishing 18th among some of the NCAA's best runners in 14:22.55, a personal best.
2003-04: Cross Country -- ran a season-best time of 24:36 at the NCAA Preview Invitational ... scored for Miami at every meet ... finished among five RedHawks in the top five places at the Flyer 5K Challenge, taking fourth ... placed sixth at the Miami Invitational ... at his first cross country MAC meet, took 15th. Track and Field -- All-MAC Second Team ... won three-of-four races he competed in during regular season ... posted a pair of top-10 finishes at the MAC Championship, including second in the 1,500m ... also took sixth in the 5,000m.
2002-03: Competed solely in the 1,500, finishing seventh or better in all six races ... ran a season-best 3:52.03 at the MAC Championships ... posted third- and races ... ran a season-best 3:52.03 at the MAC Championships ... posted third- and fourth-place finishes in back-to-back meets at the Southern Ohio Cup and Cardinal Open.
Prior to Miami: Named top true freshman at Indiana Intercollegiate meet while attending Southern Indiana. High School: Won the 1,600 at the state championship ... named the 2001 Robert S. Hinshaw Mental Attitude Award winner ... was salutatorian of senior class.
