With only a few track and field athletes competing, senior Bob Muhn (Sandusky, Ohio/Perkins) led the RedHawks by placing first at the Bearcat Classic with a 191'7" mark in the javelin on the campus of the University of Cincinnati on Saturday.

Junior Edan Peleg (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) placed second for Miami with a 184' mark to give the RedHawks the top two finishers in the javelin.

Miami's other top finisher came in the triple jump with freshman T.J. Imm (Ottawa-Glandorf, Ohio/Ottawa Glandorf) taking second with a 42'75' mark.

At the Jesse Owens Classic on Friday, senior Ryan Clark (Eaton, Ohio/Tennessee) earned an NCAA Regional standard by running the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:09.45.
