NCAA East Preliminary Qualifier ... one of four RedHawks to advance to the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round, but did not record a distance in the shot put due to injury ... was the runner-up in the shot put at the MAC Championships with a personal-best heave of 16.93m/55-6.5, which ranks him seventh in school history ... also placed 11th in the hammer throw at the MAC meet with a distance of 52.18m/171-2 ... earned second place at the RedHawk Invitational in the hammer with a distance of 51.74m/169-9 ... took second at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships in the shot put after a throw of 16.02m/52-6.75 ... posted a personal-best hammer throw of 52.21m/171-3 to take sixth at the Polytan Invitational ... indoors, had a season-best weight throw of 15.58m/51-1.5 to take second at the Cedarville Invitational.

2008-09: Placed fourth in the shot put at the MAC Championships with a toss of 52-9.25, the second-best throw by a RedHawk on the year ... recorded Miami season-best distance in the shot put at the Stan Lyons Invitational with a career-best heave of 53-0 to claim fifth place ... had a season-best throw of 161-6 in the hammer throw at the MAC Championships to finish ninth, with the toss tying for the best by a RedHawk in 2009 ... had a season-best discus throw of 148-6 at the Southern Ohio Cup to place seventh.

2007-08: Had a season-best put of 52-10 ¼ while taking sixth at the MAC Championships ... placed fifth at the Southern Ohio Cup and second at the Miami Team Challenge in the shot put ... recorded a season-best toss of 142-01 in the discus at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.

High School: All-Illinois and all-conference thrower ... earned four letters in track and two in football ... set personal bests of 162-0 in the discus and 61-11 in the shot put.
