2004-05: Cross Country -- Started all six of Miami's races, finishing five ... finished second on the team, and 18th overall at the Notre Dame 8K in 24:03 for his top 8K time of the year ... at the MAC Championships, finished fourth on the team, 22nd overall in 26:11 ... at the 10K NCAA Great Lakes Regional, finished seventh among RedHawks and 120th overall in 33:19.4. Track and Field -- All-MAC First Team ... MAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week (4/27) ... MAC Champion in the 5K, finishing in 14:33.02 ... broke a 19-year-old Miami record in the steeplechase at the NCAA Mideast Regional by more than eight seconds, finishing third in 8:43.59 and qualifying for the NCAA Championships ... set a personal-best time in the 1500 at the Miami Invitational, finishing third in 3:48.73 ... won the steeple at the All-Ohio Championships, finishing in 9:07.05 ... won the 5K at the Southern Ohio Cup in 14:58.59 ... at the NCAA Championships, finished 26th in the preliminary race in 9:02.76.
2003-04: Cross Country -- All-Region ... ran a season-best time of 25:04 in winning the Miami Invitational ... earned all-region honors with a 22nd-place finish at the difficult Great Lakes Regional ... took 3rd at Flyer Challenge. Track and Field -- All-MAC Second Team ... competed at the NCAA Regionals in the 3,000m steeplechase, taking sixth ... took second in the steeplechase, behind eventual National Champion, EMU's Jordan Desilets, and fourth in the 5,000m at the MAC Championships ... In the steeplechase, posted a season-best 8:58.88 ... won his first two collegiate tries at the event, including his first regional-qualifier at the Southern Ohio Cup ... At the prestigious Penn Relays, took fourth in the championship heat of the 5,000m.
2002-03: In cross country, finished third in first collegiate race, at the Purdue Open ... took second place at the Miami Invitational ... posted six top-three finishes during the track & field season, and finished in the top-eight in all eight events ... took first in the 1,500 at the Wake Forest Invitational ... finished 14th in the 5,000 at the Penn Relays in a career-best 14:11.52.
