2004-05: Competed in the shot put in 10 meets during his rookie season while also throwing the hammer in one ... top shot put between both the indoor and outdoor season came at the Denison indoor meet, where he won the event with a 50-1 3/4 toss ... top throw outdoors was 49-8 1/4 at the MAC Championships, where he finished 13th.
High School: Ohio state champion in the shot put ... enters Miami with a personal best of 58-3 ... lettered four years in track and four years in football, where he earned all league honors ... also played center on the basketball team for three seasons at Waverly High.
