2010-11: Participated in the decathlon at the Mid-American Conference Championships and earned a personal-best 6,994 points (sixth in school history), good for third place, helping the RedHawks take two of the top three podium spots ... clocked a season-best 110m hurdles time of 14.53, which is 10th in school history, to win that portion of the decathlon and won the 1500m portion of the decathlon at the MAC meet ... also ran in the 110m hurdles finals at the MAC meet, placing fifth in a wind-aided 14.57, and ran on the sixth-place 4x400m relay team that clocked a season-best 3:18.73 ... came in fifth place at the Sea Ray Relays in the decathlon with 6,747 points ... placed second in the decathlon at the Charlotte 49er Classic with 6,305 points ... won the 110m hurdles at the RedHawk Invitational with a time of 15.32 ... placed third in the long jump at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational (6.75m/22-1.75) ... first-place finisher at the Findlay Indoor Track & Field Classic in the pentathlon with 3,846 points, winning four of the five events.

Prior to Miami: Spent two years competing at Cal Poly San Louis Obispo ... posted personal bests of 54.14 in the 400m hurdles and 6,551 points in the decathlon while posting a collegiate-best time of 14.72 in the 110m hurdles ... placed seventh in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championships as a freshman and sophomore and took seventh in the decathlon at the Big West league meet as a sophomore.

High School: Earned four varsity letters in track at Sidney High School under coaches Jason McGaharan and Chris Zink ... captain of the track team for two years ... earned Greater Western Ohio Conference -North Division Athlete of the Year as a senior after winning both the 110m and 300m hurdles ... ran personal-best times of 14.25 in the 110m hurdles and 37.97 in the 300m hurdles, both of which are school records, and a personal-best 60m hurdles time of 8.14 indoors ... as a senior finished fourth in the 300m hurdles and fifth in the 110m hurdles at the Division I state meet ... took third in the 60m hurdles at the indoor state meet ... competed at the Junior National meet in 2008 and 2009 ... three-time team MVP for track ... also earned three varsity letters in football as a defensive end, earning defensive MVP in 2008 and First-Team All-GWOC as a senior ... two-time Academic All-Ohio selection for track.
