High School: Earned four varsity letters in track and field at Medina High School under coach Bob Jenkins ... was captain of the team as a senior ... named All-Ohio in the 110m hurdles in 2009 and qualified for state in the 300m hurdles and 4x100m relay ... district champion in the 110m hurdles in 2011 and finished fourth at the state meet ... was the state champion in the 4x100m relay in 2011 ... recorded personal bests of 14.12 in the 110m hurdles and 39.29 in the 300m hurdles ... posted personal bests of 6-2 in the high jump and 22-1.5 in the long jump ... also played soccer, earning three letters and serving as captain of the JV team as a sophomore.
