CLEVELAND - Seniors Adam Clementi (Palatine, Ill./St. Viator) and Megan Wyatt (Barrington, R.I./Barrington) were named Mid-American Conference Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively, for their performances at last weekend's Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.

Clementi turned in a second-place showing in the 100 freestyle, finishing with a time of 46.42, which is the fifth fastest time this season in the MAC. He supplemented that by coming in third in the 50 free in 21.13, the fourth fastest time in the conference to this point.

Wyatt claimed a pair of first-place finishes, in the 100 and 200 breast. She won the 100 in 1:07.57 and the 200 in 2:24.44, which was nearly three seconds faster than the runner-up. On top of that, she swam a leg of the second-place 200 and 400 medley relays, which reached the deck in 1:51.09 and 4:00.61, respectively.

The women finished third at the competition while the men placed sixth. Both teams now look toward the MAC Championships, which are Feb. 28-March 2 in Ypsilanti, Mich. for the women and March 7-9 in Athens, Ohio for the men.
