OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University head swimming coaches Dave Jennings and Pete Lindsay announced Tuesday morning that Friday's tri-meet with the University of Cincinnati and Kenyon College, originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. start in Cincinnati, has been moved to Miami's Nixon Aquatic Center. Additionally, the meet's new start time is 3 p.m.

It is the first scored dual competition for either RedHawk team since Nov. 20, when both Miami squads hosted Xavier and IUPUI. Friday's meet represents a chance for the women's team (6-1, 3-0 MAC) to complete a sweep of the three other Southwest Ohio Division I programs, having already defeated Xavier and Wright State. Miami's men (4-2, 2-0 MAC) look to emerge with a winning record against local foes, knocking off Xavier but falling to Wright State.

The three squads competed in the Miami Invitational Dec. 3-5, with Miami's women winning the competition over eight other schools and the men knocking off five teams but coming up short to Kenyon. With this Friday's meet coming to Oxford, the men's squad has three straight weekends at home. Cleveland State visits Jan. 22 with a return to MAC competition coming against Ohio Jan. 28. The women visit Toledo and Eastern Michigan next weekend before returning home Jan. 28 against Bowling Green.
