Final Stats

After the second day of competition at the 14th annual Miami Invitational, the RedHawks are sitting in fourth place, only 232 points behind the leaders Denison.

Miami junior Chris Heaton took first place in the 1-meter diving event, finishing with a score of 329.70, adding 36 points for the RedHawks.

Senior Paul Ricard finished the 200-yard butterfly event in 1:52.28, good for fifth place. Ricard has now earned 63 points through the first two days of the Invitational.

Senior Ryan McHugh and sophomore Dave Brown took sixth place and seventh place, respectively, in the 50-yard freestyle with times of 20.78 and 20.81, less than .60 seconds behind the race winner, Josh Schneider (Cincinnati, 20.25). McHugh and Brown earned 51 points for the team with their finishes.

The Invitational continues Saturday morning and will conclude later that evening.
