OXFORD, Ohio - Miami's men's swimming and diving team claimed 10 of 16 events on the way to defeating IUPUI, 189-106, and Xavier, 166-117, on Saturday afternoon in Oxford. Two divers, junior Eric Teske (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) and senior Peter Donohue (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) qualified for NCAA zone diving competition next spring while winning one diving event each.

The 200 Medley Relay squad of senior John Grubb (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), sophomore Justin Marcy (Daytona Beach, Fla./Fairfield-Ohio) and freshmen Theo Kuczek (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) and Ryan McHugh (Sylvania, Ohio/St. Francis DeSales) won the opening event in 1:35.70, while junior Scott Robson (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) took the 200 Free two events later in 1:44.93, starting a three-event win streak for Miami. Senior Jason Krasula (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) won the 100 Back in 53.63, and Kuczek won the 100 Breast in 59.04 to close the string.

The RedHawks waited just one event before getting back atop the winner's stand, when Teske claimed his three-meter win with 485.99 points. McHugh followed with a 100 Free win in 48.01. Miami's opponents claimed the next three events, but Miami won two of the last four to ensure victory. Marcy won the 100 Fly in 50.94, Donohue took the one-meter dive with 329.10 points.

Miami has Thanksgiving weekend off before resuming competition at the Miami Invitational, Dec. 3-5 at the Nixon Aquatic Center.
