OXFORD, Ohio - RedHawk divers posted the top three scores in the one-meter, and three of top four in three-meter diving, to lead Miami University's men's swimming & diving team to a 136-105, come-from-behind victory over Ball State, Saturday afternoon at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.

Trailing, 62-29, heading into the one-meter event, junior Peter Donohue (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) and sophomores Zach Niehaus (Taylor Mill, Ky./Scott) and Eric Teske (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) claimed the top three places, respectively, to cut the deficit to 65-45. Donohue missed the school record by three points, finishing with 323.85, but surpassed his personal-best score by 0.8 points. Donohoue and Niehaus finished atop the one-meter diving, as well, claiming first and second place, respectively, while Teske finished fourth.

Sophomore Scott Robson (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) and company followed up the event, taking the top three positions in the 200 butterfly. Robson won his first event of the season, pacing the field with a time of 1:54.90, while Michael Donohoe (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus) and Mike Pater (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) followed suit in second and third place.

Senior Andrew Keefe (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) continued his strong start to the season, winning both the 50 and 100 freestyle. The reigning MAC Swimmer of the Week posted of 21.50 and 46.18 in his two wins.

Freshmen Griffin Marshall (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep) and Paul Ricard (Bowling Green, Ohio/Bowling Green) also posted wins on the day. For Marshall, it was his third breaststroke win in as many tries this season, while Ricard remained undefeated in the 500 free and claimed second place in the 200 freestyle. Marshall topped his own MAC-best time in the 200 breast, hitting the wall at 2:08.37, while Ricard did the same in the 500, finishing in 4:37.34.

After clinching the victory, the RedHawks won the 400 freestyle relay in the day's final event. Ricard and Keefe teamed with freshman Justin Marcy (Daytona Beach, Fla./Fairfield) and sophomore Brian O'Rourke (Beverly Hills, Mich./Groves) for the win.

Miami takes a break before competing next against a pair of local rivals in Wright State and Xavier. The RedHawks face the Raiders in Dayton on Nov.21, before returning home for a meet with the Musketeers the next day.
