Final Stats

Miami's men's swimming and diving team learned that experience is a valuable commodity for winning in Mid-American Conference play as they fell to Toledo on Friday at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.

Senior Kelly Ball and sophomore Peter Donohue both finished as the top competitors in two separate events, respectively. Ball continued his perfect record with first-place finishes in the 200-meter butterfly and the 200-meter freestyle. Donohue took the top spot in the one- and three-meter diving events.

The RedHawks won their first relay of the season on Friday in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Senior Dave Bergan, freshman Aaron Wuensch, junior Andrew Keefe, and Ball combined for the victory.

The final tally ended with Toledo scoring 141.5 and Miami with 99.5.

Miami will travel to Columbus, Ohio to face Ohio State on Saturday, Nov 16.
