WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Juniors Christin Eberst (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and Eric Teske (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) wrapped up competition in the NCAA Zone C Diving meet on Saturday with Eberst narrowly missing out on her third straight NCAA Championships bid.

With seven spots available from Zone C to the national meet, Eberst finished with the No. 8 ranking among her fellow divers. She began the day with a No. 22 ranking and moved up with the first five of her six dives from the one-meter board, but stopped one spot short of a national bid. Eberst was ranked eighth following her fifth dive and stayed in that spot after her final attempt, finishing with 221.60 points. While Friday's three-meter competition was included in the ranking, Eberst's was just 1.65 points behind seventh-ranked Amanda Miller of Purdue.

Teske finished as the 27th-ranked diver after the three-meter competition Saturday. He started the day in 14th place, but fell to 29th after the first of his 11 dives and held the No. 27 spot for his last six attempts.

The Zone C competition concluded the season for both Eberst's women's swimming and diving squad and Teske's men's team.
