WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Juniors Christin Eberst (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and Eric Teske (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) competed on the first day of the NCAA Zone C Diving meet at Purdue University. The women competed on the three-meter board, while the men started off with the one-meter event.

Eberst finished sixth overall with 503.90 points on the three-meter board, leaving open the chance to grab one of the seven spots available at the Zone C meet for the NCAA Championships. The seven spots are divided between the one-meter, three-meter and platform diving competitions.

Teske did not place in the top 18 divers on the one-meter board, and only seven spots at the NCAA national meet are available for the male competitors as well.

Eberst and her fellow female divers compete Saturday at 11 a.m. on the one-meter board, while Teske and the male divers start at the same time on the three-meter board.
