INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Miami's men's swimming and diving team finished with 277 points, good for sixth place of the eight teams competing in the three-day House of Champions meet hosted by IUPUI that wrapped up on Saturday.

Freshman Jess Hogg (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda) was the first Miamian in the pool on Saturday evening, taking sixth in the 200 Back, finishing in 2:01.42 and earning 13 points

Senior Kestutis Aukstuolis (Hudson, Ohio/Sycamore) was the first of two Miami scorers in the following event, the 100 Free, taking fourth and earning 15 points in 47.47 seconds. Freshman Sean McLaughlin (Northbrook, Ill./Loyola Academy) took ninth in the event, earning nine points in 47.81 seconds.

Miami's top individual finish came from junior Brian O'Rourke (Beverly Hills, Mich./Groves), who took second in the 200 Fly in 1:55.78, earning 17 points.

In the one-meter dive, freshman Ryan Reinke (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) saw his first action of the season, taking 15 team points while earning a fourth-place 212.75 markers.

Miami earned its final 30 points by taking fourth in the 400 Free Relay in 3:11.91. Hogg, Aukstuolis, O'Rourke and McLaughlin teamed up in the event.

Miami's men have next weekend off before hosting the Mid-American Conference Championships Mar. 3-5 at the Nixon Aquatic Center.
