Final Stats

Miami's men's swimming and diving team fell to the University at Buffalo and Eastern Michigan University on Saturday, 129-114 and 178-65, respectively. Sophomore Peter Donohue (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin) and senior Kelly Ball (Granger, IN/Penn) both brought first-place finishes back to Oxford from Buffalo, NY.

In the sixth event of the day, Donohue continued his winning streak in the one-meter diving event by scoring 310.20 for first place. Donohue has not lost in the one-meter event since Nov. 16, 2002.

Ball took the next event by out-touching Eastern Michigan's Justin Breitigam by two hundredths of a second in the 200-yard butterfly, as Ball's time read 1:52.42. Ball had already won the 200-yard freestyle in 142.23. With the victory, Ball went undefeated in every individual race during the entire MAC season.

The RedHawks will have a month to prepare for the Mid-American Conference Championships, which will also take place in Buffalo, NY on March 6-8.
