YPSILANTI, Mich. - The two undefeated teams in Mid-American Conference dual meet competition met on Saturday afternoon in Ypsilanti, Mich. , with Eastern Michigan handing Miami (7-4, 3-1 MAC) a loss to end dual meet competition, 149-92, one month before the two squads collide once again at the MAC Championships in Oxford, Mar. 3-5.

The Eagles touched the wall first on the first five events before Miami triumphed on the three-meter diving board. Junior Eric Teske's (Dayton, Ohio/Centerville) 281.69 points headed a RedHawk showing that took four of the top six places. The win was only Teske's second in 10 meets this season.

But Eastern Michigan's win streak picked back up and continued until sophomore Griffin Marshall (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep) won the last individual swimming event, the 200 Breast, in 2:06.86, 3.25 seconds faster than EMU's Ondrej Pekarovic.

The RedHawks have the coming weekend off before competing in the Midwest Conference Championships in Indianapolis, Ind., the following weekend. The team's final meet of the year is the MAC Championships in the Nixon Aquatic Center the first weekend in March.
