Final Stats

In their first meet in over a month, Miami's men's swimming team battled the University of Cincinnati before falling 136-105 at the Keating Natatorium on the campus of St. Xavier High School on Friday night.

The lone highlight for Miami was the diving competition, which took place at Miami earlier in the afternoon. Sophomore Peter Donohue (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) took first in both the one- and three-meter diving competitions. Freshman Zach Niehaus (Taylor Mill, Ky./Scott) placed second in both competitions to give Miami the top two performers.

In the 11 swimming events on Friday, Miami had a swimmer place second in eight of those races.

In their next action, Miami hosts Wright State on Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
