2008-09: Named MAC Swimmer of the Week 10/28/08.
2007-08: Named All-MAC First Team ... set career bests in 100 breaststroke (57.99), 200 breaststroke (2:07.67) and 200 IM (1:54.85) with 12th, 15th, and 18th place finishes, respectively, at Sun Belt/MAC Championships.
2006-07: Versatile swimmer who competed in the butterfly, breaststroke and individual medley ... won the 100 butterfly at season-opening dual meet against Ball State ... swam season-best times in the 100 (54.15) and 200 butterfly (1:58.65) against Ball State ... registered top 400 IM time (4:08.30) and top 200 breaststroke time (2:09.29) at the MAC Championships.
High School: Collected high school all-America honors in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay ... three-time state qualifier at St. Frances DeSales ... competed in the Speedo Sectional meet on three occasions ... four-year letterwinner in swimming ... earned first-team all-state honors in water polo player as a junior and senior ... enters Miami with top times in the 100 fly (52.40) and 400 IM (4:50.20).
Personal: Son of Chris and John Carroll ... pre-med major ... brother, John, was a nine-time MAC Champion at Miami (1998-2002) ... brother, Pat, was a two-time all-MAC honoree at Miami (2002-2006) and helped the RedHawks win the 2006 MAC title.
