Dec. 10, 2008

OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami's Head Ice Hockey Coach Enrico Blasi has teamed with the United Way of Oxford to help improve the lives of the area's most vulnerable residents. Two charity auctions are currently underway to raise funds for worthy projects.

Miami fans can bid on a pair of exciting events centered around home games during the 2009 portion of the schedule. These auctions are being conducted through E-Bay and are subject to the conditions of that company.

Package one allows the winner to serve as a guest bench coach for the Bowling Green game on Friday, Jan. 30. You can't get any closer to the action, the team and the excitement of beating the Falcons than right there on the bench. To bid on that package, click here.

Package two includes four seats in Blasi's private suite for the Northern Michigan game on Friday, Feb. 20. The winner and three friends will have a bird's eye view of the action as the RedHawks take on the Wildcats. To bid on that package, click here.

The auctions end on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 p.m. For more information contact, Maureen Kranbuhl, Executive Director of United Way Oxford, at (513) 523-0991 or director@uwoxford.org.
