FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Miami's Carter Camper is one of two unanimous selections to the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's 2009-10 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league office announced today. Voting was conducted among the 12 head coaches.

Camper, a junior forward, joined Michigan junior forward Louie Caporusso as the only players to receive the maximum 55 points. The honor follows Camper's selection as a first-team all-conference selection for 2008-09. He was on the preseason secong team last year at this time. As a sophomore, Camper led Miami with 20 goals and 42 points. He led the conference with 12 power-play goals.

RedHawk defenseman Chris Wideman was an honorable mention selection. The sophomore from St. Louis was among the next six vote-getters after the first and second teams were announced. He led Miami with 26 assists last season.

Joining Camper and Caporusso on the first team are forward Mark Olver of Northern Michigan, defensemen Ian Cole (Notre Dame) and Erik Gustafsson (Northern Michigan) and goaltender Brian Stewart of Northern Michigan.

Three members of Notre Dame were selected to the second team -- forwards Calle Ridderwall and Billy Maday and defenseman Kyle Lawson. John Albert of Ohio State, Nebraska-Omaha's Eddie DelGrosso and Michigan goaltender Bryan Hogan rounded out the group.

Voting was conducted among the 12 head coaches in the CCHA. Coaches could not vote for their own players.
