Sept. 5, 2008

OXFORD, Ohio - The game times for the Miami Michigan State series in Oxford on Jan. 16-17 have been changed to 8:05 Eastern Standard Time in order for the game to be broadcast live on CBS college sports.

The games had been scheduled for 7:35 p.m. on Friday and 7:05 p.m. on Saturday but have been moved back to accommodate television. The games will be the third and fourth match ups of the 2008-09 season for the RedHawks and Spartans. Miami and Michigan State are back in the same CCHA cluster with Michigan and Ohio State for the first time since 2003-04 when all four teams went on the NCAA tournament. Miami has won more game over the past three seasons than any other school (83) and for a higher winning percentage than any other division I school (71-percent).
